Beyond its reputation, Saint-Tropez has remained a well-kept pleasant provençal village to visit. It is also perhaps the best place to have a bicycle with you (from April to November) if you do not wish to get stuck hours in traffic jams. Fortunatly, a recommended paved bicycle paths runs around the gulf from the Plage de la Croisette (Sainte Maxime) to the Port de Saint Tropez .
