Sentier Etangs de Villepey

Les Etangs de Villepey (coastal wetlands) are a preserved natural area since it was acquired in 1982 by le Conservatoire du littoral. This reserve (252 ha) is populated by more than 250 species of birds and a section of the footpath leads to l'observatoire de la Vasière (a hide) where they can be observed.A loop is possible through the site as long as the wooden footbridge destroyed by the floods in 2011 has been rebuilt.
